Moroccan Lamb Tagine Recipe
  • 1 kg lamb with bone, cut into small pics
  • 2 tbsp canola oil or Olive oil
  • 2 big White Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander fresh leaves finely chopped
  • 1 Garlic clove diced
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp, Turmeric Powder
  • Pinch of saffron
  • 1 tsp Black pepper Powder
  • 2 Cubes of chicken stock
  • 2 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1 Cup dried figs
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp orange blossom water


Moroccan Lamb Tagine Recipe
  1. Heat the Oil in a pot, add the lamb pieces and cook then until golden Brown
  2. Add spices, saffron and Chicken stocks and the Onion and stir.
  3. Add the coriander, Parsley, garlic and water, cover the pit reduce heat and simmer for 30 mint until lamb is tender and sauce is thickened.
  4. In a separate pot boil the figs with 1/2 a cup of water, sugar, cinnamon sticks for 10 mints until it caramelizes add the orange blossom water, Remove from heat
  5. Place a Walnut on the top of each caramelized fig then garnish the lamb tagine with them
