Lamb Majboos Recipe|How to make Lamb Majboos

Majboss lamb لحم مجبوس   Kuwaiti كويتى  favorite dish, to make a lamb majj-boss have to know some tips that make a perfect and tasty and yummy at your home any once can make easy  at your  home.when boiled lamb and keep separate and when you ready to serve just shallow fry the lamb and give nice colors both side.
mostly i prepare without lamb stock cook rice so it’s prevent smell of lamb in Rice.

INGREDIENTS

  •  1/2 kg Lamb Chunk cut with Bone
  • 100 gm Basmati Rice
  • 2 large onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 sticks Celery
  • 3 cloves of Garlic
  • 2 pics of Bay leaves
  • 5 pics of Cardamon
  • 4 pics of Cloves
  • 2 pics of Cinnamon sticks
  • Hot water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbs of saffron color
  • 1 tsp of rose water
  • 2 gm cooking oil

DIRECTION
Boil Hot water in deep souse pan add accordingly onion, garlic,celery, carrot,bay leaves,cardamon,cinnamon and salt and cover it until boil then add lamb and cook it 2 to 3 hours until lamb is cook.
Remove lamb and keep a side strain water if you want to use for cooking rice, as my advise cook rice with normal water don’t use stock of boil lamb
Hit a pot add chopped onion and garlic and cook it until golden Browne, add hot water and cover for 10 minutes bring a boil then add rice and salt to taste and cover it, Check water with your index finger and cook it for 10 minutes and cover it in slow fame for another 10 minutes.
Add saffron colors and rose water in mixed with water
Add saffron colors in lam and hit oil in frying pan and fried that lamb in good colors
Remove rice and keep it in serving plate and top with some saffron colors in rice and then  add lamb and garnish and serve hot .
Garnish with Hassu, in other post will write how to make Hassu
