Dolma is Verbal noun in “Turkish” for word “dolmak” to be stuffed Dolma without meat is something called “Valanai”Dolma in Turkish versions have been known in “Persian”.Since at least as early as the 17th Century .Dolma combination of meat and rice its use   vegetable meat chicken with Rice common in the Mediterranean cuisine  and surrounding region including the balkans ,Russia,Central Asia and Middle East.

Kuwaiti Dolma Recipe for feeling

  • 12 large red chili pepper(long)
  • 400 gm Minced chicken breast
  • Handful of green olives pitted and finely chopped
  • Handful of Pistachios,coarsely chopped
  • 1 shallot,grated
  • 3 garlic cloves diced
  • 1/2 tsp. coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp, All spices

Kuwaiti Dolma Recipe for Sauce 

  • 4 big tomatoes, skinless, de-seeded and grated
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1tsp.Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup of chicken Stock

  1. Open the chilies using a sharp knife and only remove the head. Remove the seeds and keep the aside
  2. meanwhile i n deep bowl mince chicken breasts with olives pistachios Shallot Garlic and season the mixture with coriander powder pice
  3. Form long rolls from the chicken filling (try to keep the chili comes of same size)then stuff each chili with this mixture.
  4. Brush the grill o your baking tray with some oil.Grill the Stuffed chilies from both sides (8 minutes for each side).
  5. Cover the grilled kebabs with foil to keep them warm and set them aside.
  6. In a saucepan,heat the olive oil and add the onion, then the tomatoes and stir to r 5 minutes until the soften.
  7. Add the chicken stock and parsley stir nicely
  8. Place Sauce in a oven-proof dish, arrange stuffed chilies over the sauce and bake in Preheated oven at 180 degree for 25 minutes.
  9. Serve Kebabs next to steamed rice or garden Salad.
